Winter Workshops
Hello Everyone,
I am offering some classes for the winter session. If you are new to jewelery making, now (before Christmas) is a great time to get started. I would suggest a beginners earring workshop, to get used to working with tools and wire, then progress to the wire workshop (advanced) and wire pendant.
I am busy, busy getting the store ready for the holidays, with lots of new stock showing up, who knows, I might even be organized before the season hits.
I have been hosting the odd birthday party for kids, by request. They have been such fun that I will do more private parties. Call to arrange your private party on Sundays 1:00-3:00 pm.
Please go over the class list and if something interests you please CALL the store 250 352 3100 to sign up, as I am not always able to check email.

All workshops are held at Abacus Beads in the evenings. All materials are supplied to complete your projects from stock beads. If you would like to upgrade to in house beads you will get a 20% discount on the class day to finish your project.
Earring Workshop (Beginner) November 18th Thursday
6:00pm-8:00pm $20.00
Learn to design and execute at least 3 pairs of earrings. (Great Christmas presents)
Wire Workshop (Advanced) November 23rd Tuesday
6:00pm-9:00pm $30.00
Our longest running class, with Danielle. Learn to link and cage beads with wire. Make a necklace, anklet or bracelet. This will definitely bump up your jewelry making skills.
Wire Wrap Pendant November 25th Thursday
6:00pm-8:00pm $25.00
We will cage a glass marble with copper wire, then a stone with silver plate wire. You will learn how to bind any found object into a beautiful piece of art.
Feather Earring December 2nd Thursday
6:00pm-7:30 $20.00
The trend continues, with these light and long masterpieces. You will make at least 2 pairs. Fun!
Floating or Long Chain Necklace December 7th Tuesday
6:00pm-8:00pm $20.00
Link beads onto a long chain for a festive cocktail necklace and then use crimps to arrange beads on beadwire for a light sparkly look. (2 projects)
Tween to Teen Earring Workshop December 9th Thursday
6:00-7:30pm $15.00
Just in time for holidays, you will learn to make classic dangles and feathers too! Makes a great present.
